• Irondequoit man found dead after alleged pipe attack on father (democratandchronicle.com) — Irondequoit police say a 38-year-old man allegedly struck his father with a metal pipe on Brower Road before later being found dead from apparent self-inflicted stab wounds in a nearby home. The father was hospitalized with a concussion and head laceration and has since been released, and police note prior mental-health-related calls and crisis team involvement at the address.
