2017 Primary Election Preview: Suffolk County 9th Legislative District - Democrat

This Tuesday, residents will be voting in several local primary elections to choose the candidates to run on Election Day on Nov. 8.

Voters will get the chance to elect the Democratic candidate for Suffolk County Legislator - 9th District.
Currently, the seat is occupied by Monica Martinez (D) who will be seeking re-election this year.

She is being challenged by Angela Ramos.

District: The 9th legislative district covers Central Islip, the eastern portion of Brentwood and a section of the Village of Islandia.
