5 Motorcycles, 4 Can-Am Rykers Stolen From Heckscher Park: PD
The vehicles were stolen on two separate dates within one week, police say.
EAST ISLIP, NY - Five motorcycles and four three-wheeled vehicles were stolen on two separate dates within a span of one week in Heckscher State Park, police said.
According to New York State Police, on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 10:55 a.m., three green 2021 Kawasakis and two turquoise 2021 Kawasakis were reported stolen from a locked storage container in Field 7 of the park.
This Wednesday, police responded to a report of four missing Can-Am Rykers from another storage unit in the same field at about 11:17 am., authorities said.

In both incidents, police said, the containers were damaged and their locks were cut.
Police are currently investigating the theft. Anyone who has information regarding either of the incidents is asked to call the New York State Police at 631-756-3300.
