Bubba's Burrito Staff Donate 100 Backpacks To Children In Need
The owner and staff of the popular restaurant were honored for helping the local children as part of the Town's Supply Drive.

ISLIP, NY – Tim Henriksen, owner of Bubba's Burrito Bar, and his staff, were recognized by Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and members of the Islip Town Board for helping the children of the community.
Henriksen recently purchased 100 new backpacks for distribution to children in need within the Town of Islip.
In addition, Bubba's staff members donated their tips over the course of a weekend, and those dollars were used to fund the supplies needed for the backpacks.

The effort was in response to the Town of Islip’s School Supply Drive, an annual drive conducted by the Town of Islip Youth Bureau.
Many businesses throughout Islip also participated in the event.

“Tim’s involvement in the Youth Bureau’s School Supply Drive truly exemplifies corporate giving and giving back to the community, Supervisor Angie Carpenter said. "Together, Tim and Bubba's staff helped children start the school year proudly, with new, fully stocked backpacks."
