Fire Breaks Out In Islip Residence: PD

A fire that broke out at an Islip residence is currently under investigation, Suffolk County Police say.

ISLIP, NY β€” A fire that broke out at an Islip residence is currently under investigation, Suffolk County Police said.

According to the Islip Fire Department, officials responded to an emergency call at about 9:12 a.m. about a fire at a Natick Street home.

Upon arrival, firefighters found flames on the sides of a structure, and mutual aid companies were immediately brought in from Islip, East Islip and Central Islip, officials said.

The fire was then extinguished, Islip Fire Department said.

Police have not yet confirmed if anyone was injured.
