The student remained on the bus and got off at the next stop, Denver Street.
The student started to walk home when the car drove by, did a turnaround and drove past her. The men made eye contact and sped away.
The student reported this incident to her parent and a report was filed with the Suffolk County Police Department.
"Please review this incident with your children and review stranger/safety issues with them in order to help ensure their safety at all times," Mosca wrote in the letter. "Encourage them not to walk alone on the streets and be watchful for strangers, especially those who match the above description."
