ISLIP, NY - The Town of Islip will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the potential of adding a poultry slaughterhouse in the area next week. According to the agenda for next week's meeting, one of the topics of discussing is a proposed change of zone to allow the slaughterhouse on Beaver Dam Road by Islip Avenue.
