Islip HS Student Reports Being Followed Home From School: SD
The male student reported that a man driving a minivan followed him while walking home from school on two occasions.
ISLIP, NY - Islip High School officials sent out a letter to parents after a male student reported an incident involving an unknown man following him home from school on two occasions this week.
The incident was reported to Suffolk Police on Tuesday, April 30.
According to the report, on both Monday and Tuesday the student exited the school and was walking west on Main Street when he noticed a minivan driven by an older man drive out of the McDonald’s parking lot.

The man when then open up the window and follow the boy home.
In both instances, when the student arrived at his house, the man drove away.

The student described the driver as a white man with a white beard. The vehicle was described
as an older blue minivan.
