Islip Junior Wins Pizzeria Window Painting Contest

Angela’s Pizzeria in Islip recently held a window painting contest – won by Islip High School junior Finola Pegion – to decorate the front of the restaurant’s Islip Avenue location. Owner Vinny DiMaio and his wife Tara are both Islip alumni from the Class of 2005, and held the contest as means to connect with and give back to the community. Pegion’s prize is free pizza once a month for all of 2021.
