“Driving in the parade today was very emotional, but the positivity of the teachers, staff, administrators and residents was incredible,” said English teacher Meghan Stern, the school’s Student Union adviser. “Witnessing the cheers of the students and community members was truly an amazing exhibit of Islip pride. Words cannot express how thankful we are to them, and to the Islip Fire Department for joining us.”
