Islip School Budget Results Are In
Islip residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Islip residents approved the district’s $82.4 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 988-372.
The budget represents a 1.93 percent spending increase over the current year.
In the vote for Islip Board of Education members, incumbent Phil Dineen was re-elected while Kelly Vallette beat out Dave Twomey for the two open seats.
