Sherwood Students Excel At Winter Concert
Sherwood Elementary School fourth- and fifth-grade chorus performed at the school's well-received Dec. 21 winter concert.
ISLIP, NY - From Islip School District: Islip’s Sherwood Elementary School showcased its students’ musical progress with a well-received Dec. 21 winter concert. The show featured the school’s fourth- and fifth-grade chorus and level I and II orchestras, all directed by Holly Markee; and Sherwood’s level I and II concert bands, directed by Elaine Perrillo.
“It is always great to see the students excel in music,” said Principal Chad Walerstein. “Their dedication and hard work really showed during the performances. I am very proud of all of them.”
