Time For Geniuses At Islip's Sherwood Elementary
The project allows students the opportunity to pursue anything that matters to them & create a product to share with the world around them.
From Islip Sherwood Elementary School: Fourth-graders in Lynn Coyle’s classroom at Islip’s Sherwood Elementary School have recently been working on “Genius Hour” projects. The Genius Hour initiative – also known as “passion projects” or “20 percent time” – allows students the opportunity to pursue anything that matters to them and create a product to share with the world around them.
