Woman Stole Inflatable Snowman From Suffolk Home: Police

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A Central Islip woman was arrested on Wednesday for stealing a decoration from the front lawn of a Central Islip home last month, according to Suffolk Police.

Tinisha Delacruz, 31, stole an inflatable snowman from the front lawn of a Ackerman Street home on November 28, police said.

Following an investigation, officers arrested Delacruz on Wednesday at 8:50 a.m.

She was charged with petty larceny and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

She will be scheduled for arraignment at a later date.
