12-Year-Old Boy Hit By Car Outside Jackson Heights School: NYPD
A car struck a 12-year-old boy in front of a Jackson Heights middle school Thursday afternoon.
JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS — A car struck a 12-year-old in front of a Jackson Heights middle school on Thursday, police said.
The crash happened about 2:20 p.m. in front of I.S. 145 Joseph Pulitzer, near the intersection of 34th Ave. and 79th St. in Jackson Heights, according to police and an NBC4 report.
Emergency responders rushed the child to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is in serious condition but likely survive, police told NBC4.
