Citizens Bank To Host Free Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration In Flushing

QUEENS, NY — Citizens Bank will celebrate the opening of its new branch in Downtown Flushing with a free Mid-Autumn Festival celebration next week.

The event on Wednesday, September 23, will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grant presentation to Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE) from 11 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the festival from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Festivities will include a traditional Chinese lion dance by Flushing-based Awaken Lion, Asian American-inspired food, live music from multidisciplinary supergroup Kung Flow, a traditional sugar artist, games and giveaways.

The celebration is open to the public and will highlight Citizens Bank’s new presence in the Downtown Flushing community.
