Man Loses Limbs After Falling Under Train In Elmhurst

ELMHURST, QUEENS — A man lost limbs after he fell under a train in Queens late Monday night, according to reports.

The 32-year-old man fell between two train cars as an R train was leaving the Elmhurst Avenue subway station about 11 p.m., police said. The impact severed his left foot and caused trauma to his arms and legs, according to police.

The man ended up losing an arm and his legs, the New York Post reported.

Emergency responders rushed the man in serious condition to Elmhurst Hospital, the FDNY said.
