Man Punched, Bloodied In Random Queens Subway Attack: NYPD
Two men got into an argument on a train at the 74th Street–Roosevelt Avenue station before one violently punched the other, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A man was attacked in the culmination of an argument aboard a Manhattan-bound F train during the morning commute last week, according to police.
Around 8 a.m. on Feb. 10, the 35-year-old victim boarded the train at Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station when a stranger approached and began arguing with him en route to Queens Plaza station in Long Island City, police told Patch.
The argument escalated and the stranger punched the other in the face multiple times, resulting in lacerations and swelling to his eye, officials said.

First responders arrived quickly and treated the victim at the scene, police said.
The suspect, last seen wearing a black hat, dark jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes, stayed on the F train until Lexington Ave.-53rd St. station, where he fled in an unknown direction.
