ST. ALBANS, QUEENS —Police are looking for the dollar van driver who injured 10 passengers after he slammed into a light pole in St. Albans on May 16.

The van driver crashed into a pole at the corner of Farmers and Linden Boulevards shortly after 2 p.m., injuring 10 passengers, an FDNY spokesman said.

The driver got out of the van and ran away, according to police.

Emergency responders brought six victims to Jamaica Hospital, three to Queens Hospital Center and one to North Shore University Hospital, the spokesman said.
