• Historic Milleridge Inn Cottage Closed After Fire, Weddings And Events May Be Affected (patch.com) — A recent electrical fire has shut down the historic Milleridge Inn and its Cottage in Jericho, putting many upcoming weddings and events in limbo while repairs are assessed. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze with no injuries, but damage to the upper floors and exterior means the Dover Group is working to relocate or adjust celebrations while this landmark venue remains closed until further notice.
   

• LI Schools Speak Out After Seeing Ranking Drops in U.S. News' Best Public High Schools (patch.com) — Jericho High School has tumbled in the latest U.S. News rankings, dropping from top‑10 in New York to 41st statewide and far lower nationally, largely due to a change in how AP exam data is used. The 6,700‑square‑foot facility will offer hands‑on gardening, vocational training, and therapeutic activities, helping participants build job skills and confidence while supported by sponsors like M&T Bank and National Grid.
