• Vets to kayak next Adaptive Sports Foundation event (dailygazette.com) — Jewett residents will soon see visiting veterans kayaking and hiking at Colgate Lake, as the Adaptive Sports Foundation’s Warriors in Motion program wraps up there on Thursday, June 11. Over three days, 13 injured service members will kayak area lakes, stay locally, and gather at the Windham-based ASF lodge for meals and wellness-focused outdoor activities.
