• Jordan Volunteer Fire Department faces response delays due to Quimby's Bridge closure (informnny.com) — Emergency response times for Jordan residents are climbing because Quimby's Bridge over the Seneca River is now fully closed, forcing the Jordan Volunteer Fire Department onto long detours. Heavier traffic on Jordan Road and River Road and the Route 34 bridge closure are compounding delays, so firefighters are adding mutual aid and relocating equipment while the state works on a fix.
