• Town of Kent designated as fiscally stressed (midhudsonnews.com) — Kent residents are being warned that the town has been officially designated as fiscally stressed by New York State, raising the likelihood of another property tax increase this year. Town Supervisor Jaime McGlasson blames years of frozen taxes and missing financial staff, and says her priority is restoring Kent's fiscal health without overburdening homeowners.
