3 Kings Park High School Students Presented with National Merit Scholarship Program Letter of Commendation

Samantha Johnson, Lydia Ottaviano and Eliza Swieczkowski are among approximatley 34,000 commended students nationwide who have shown exceptional academic promise.

Three Kings Park High School students were presented with a Letter of Commendation in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Samantha Johnson, Lydia Ottaviano and Eliza Swieczkowski are among approximately 34,000 commended students nationwide who have shown exceptional academic promise.

Their high selection index scores places them among the top 50,000 of over 1.5 million students who entered the 2012 national Merit Program by taking the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Only 16,000 higher-scoring program participants who qualified as Semifinalists will continue in the competition for Merit Scholarship awards.
