Introduction To "Potty Mouth"
The first "cuss" word that my two year old had ever heard.
June 19, 2000 - Daughter #1, then two years, nine Months, gave DaddyBo a jolt. A friend was at our home in Long Beach and was with her in the den while my wife and I were busy in the kitchen. The friend called out to us to bring some paper towels because he had spilled a glass of wine on the carpet. When I got to the den, my daughter was standing over the spot where the wine had spilled, hands on knees, and calmly said.............."Oh $&%@!"
My wife and I stood there with our mouths wide open. Our friend was mortified, and we began to worry that she would repeat the "F" word at school if she knocked her block castle over or something.....and so the realization of "You can't shelter your children from EVERYTHING" had begun.
