Wow Your Guests With This Fun Dessert.
Easy creative and fun cake for the holiday season!

Instead of the traditional pumpkin or apple pie, why not try something that is not only delicious but creative and fun. I wish I could take credit for this idea but I first saw this cake at www.madeinmelskitchen.com
Every time I make this cake it’s the talk of the party. Whether you like candy, cake, or both, you and your family will love this cake. It’s fun to eat and great to look at.
Ingredients:
4 Large Packages of Kit-Kats

Directions:
Make your favorite cake recipe or box cake, into two 8” round cake pans and let cool. Trim off some of the top of each cake so they sit flat. Place the first layer on a plate and add frosting or your favorite filling to the top of that layer then stack second cake on top of the filling. Apply frosting to the two-layer cake.
Cut the Kit-Kats into individual pieces (I find the Kit-Kats easier to work with if you place them in the fridge for a half hour before cutting them). Place the bars on the cake, gently pushing into the frosting. Tie with a ribbon and fill the top with m&m’s.
You can make this cake to fit any holiday or party by changing the ribbon. You can use white chocolate Kit-Kats and pink M&M’s for a sweet sixteen or red and green M&M’s for Christmas. I would suggest that if you use white chocolate Kit-Kats that you frost your cake with white icing and chocolate icing for regular Kit-Kats.
