KINGS PARK, NY - A small plane made a "forced landing" at Sunken Meadow State Park on Friday morning, Suffolk Police said.
A 911 call came in at 10:50 a.m., police said.
There were two people on the plane and neither were injured after the plane landed on the beach, police said.
The incident comes less than a week after a small plane crashed in an industrial park in Hauppauge. And last month, another small plane crashed just off Long Island’s North Shore in Setauket Harbor. Three men were rescued after that crash, but one remains missing.
