Crimes Nearby: Woman Arrested For Forgery In East Northport

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Nov. 10 - 17.
Smithtown
Jonathon Knapp, 54, of St. James was arrested Nov. 17 in St. James and charged with second degree harrassment. Reports indicate Knapp allegedly grabbed a female victim by the neck, slapped her across the face and pushed her up against a wall.

Francesco Giaramida, 29, of Huntington Station was arrested Nov. 16 in Smithtown and charged with fourth degree grand larceny. Giaramida is accused of using a credit card from a stolen wallet at two gas stations and a motel.
Commack

Thomas Scandura, 20, of Commack, was arrested Nov. 15 in Commack and charged with loitering and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Scandura was arrested while sitting in the driver seat of the 2008 Mazda on Florida Avenue.
Jessica Cuomo, 19, of Commack, was arrested Nov. 15 in Commack and charged with criminal possession of marijuana, loitering and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Cuomo is accused of possessing more than 25 grams of marijuana and using cocaine in the back seat of the 2008 Mazda on Florida Avenue.
Three Village
William Stover, 56, of East Setauket, was arrested on Nov. 12 at 9:15 p.m. and charged with first degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. He was reportedly pulled over in a 1994 Ford near 1975 Route 347 in Saint James.
Kimberly Bailey, 24, of South Setauket, was arrested on Nov. 15 and charged with petty larceny. She allegedly took 19 items of assorted merchandise from Walmart in South Setauket.
Hauppauge
Yanet Aguilar, 38, of Brentwood, was arrested Nov. 17 in Islandia and charged with second-degree burglary. Police said Aguilar was arrested on Raymond Drive after allegedly breaking into a home on Carroll Street through a side window and fleeing with possessions.
Brittany McCarthy, 19, of Fort Salonga, was arrested Nov. 14 in Hauppauge and charged with third-degree grand larceny. Police said McCarthy was arrested on Nesconset Highway after signing forged personal checks at a Chase Bank in East Northport.
Mark Sauer, 30, of Nesconset, was arrested Nov. 12 in Nesconset and charged with fifth degree possession of marijuana. Sauer was arrested at the intersection of Smithtown Bypass and Terry Road, allegedly with marijuana in public view.
Joseph Hill, 28, of Hauppauge, was arrested Nov. 11 in Smithtown and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Hill was arrested on New Mill Road while driving a 2007 Audi A4, allegedly with a license he knew was suspended, according to police reports.
Frank Richards, 22, of Nesconset, was arrested Nov. 10 at his home in Nesconset and charged with second degree harrassment and resisting arrest. Richards is accused of shoving a police officer in an attempt to flee after being found with what reports indicate were pills, a hypodermic instrument and marijuana while officers were serving a bench warrant for his arrest.
Sara Amorello, 28, of Brentwood, was arrested Nov. 10 in Haupauge and charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. She is accused of possessing heroin.
Nicholas Torrelli, 34, of Holbrook, was arrested Nov. 10 in Hauppauge and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said he was arrested on the Motor Parkway.
