Developmental Disabilities Institute, DDI, is one of the largest providers of care to children and adults with Autism, developmental
disabilities and other special needs. DDI has been a part of Long Island for nearly 50 years serving over 1,500 children and adults with Autism, other developmental disabilities and special needs. DDI provides innovative and expansive services to our adult population through various residential services, day habilitation programs and vocational services.

DDI is currently looking to hire:

Teaching Assistants

F/T M-F 8-3:30. HS/Equivalency diploma and min 6 college credits req’d. Exp working with children pref’d.

Behavior Specialist

F/T M-F 8-3:30. MA/MS Degree Psychology or completion of BCBA coursework sequence, 2 yrs. exp w/students with autism/DD pop, demonstrable skill with ABA, SCIP-R Cert req’d.

Clinical Coordinator

F/T M-F 8-3:30. MA Special Ed or related field & BCBA cert req’d. 3 yrs supvr exp with students with autism or DD pop, extensive knowledge of ABA and behavioral mgmt. techniques also req’d.
