Teaching Assistants
Developmental Disabilities Institute, DDI, is one of the largest providers of care to children and adults with Autism, developmental disabilities and other special needs. DDI has been a part of Long Island for nearly 50 years serving over 1,500 children and adults with Autism, other developmental disabilities and special needs. DDI provides innovative and expansive services to our adult population through various residential services, day habilitation programs and vocational services. DDI is currently looking to hire Teaching Assistants to work with our Children ages 5-22 in a school setting. Full time opportunities available. Candidates must have a HS Diploma or GED, 18 college credits preferred, and some experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is helpful.
