THIS EVENING: Candlelight Vigil For 11-Year-Old Kings Park Girl Struck by Van
The R.J.O. Intermediate School student was in critical condition following accident Saturday.

KINGS PARK, NY - A candlelight vigil for 11-year-old Holly Gallo will be held at the Kings Park Bluff at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Holly, a student at R.J.O. Intermediate School, was critically injured when she was struck by a van on Main Street in Kings Park on Saturday morning.
“Please bring your own candles and join us to pray for this beautiful child who needs many prayers,” an invite to the vigil reads.

An online fundraiser for Holly’s family has also been started by a family friend. Nearly $10,000 has been raised in less than 18 hours.
“Holly is one of the most kindest, thoughtful young girls I have had the pleasure to know and love,” wrote Sabrina Klemballa, the person who started the fundraiser on GoFundMe.
