Police Report: Rapist Threatened to Kill Victim in April Attack
District Attorney's office says investigation is active, but there have been no arrests.

The perpetrator of at the Nissequogue River State Park gagged his 20-year-old victim and threatened to kill her, according to the police report obtained by Patch.
New York State Park Police reported on April 6 that the victim was walking on a bicycle path near Old Dock Road in the park when she was accosted. The report described the man as white, approximately six feet tall, with a thin muscular build and blond hair, wearing black gloves.
Additional details obtained by Patch state that the attacker was dressed entirely in black and wore a black ski mask, placed tape over the victim’s mouth and said to the woman, “If you tell, I will kill you.”

The report also states that after the attack, the woman walked to a nearby church and then back to her residence where she called a friend. The police were then contacted.
Later that month, the state park police announced that they were . A representative from that office said on Tuesday that the investigation is active and they are working with park police. They confirmed that no arrests have been made in the attack and said no further comments would be made on an active investigation.
