
Sean King, a longtime resident of Smithtown, is starring in a one-man show titled “Prisoners and Criminals” at the historic Conklin Barn, 2 High St., Huntington through August 9th. The play, written by Jarret Wright and directed by Jim Bonney, has King appearing as seven different characters, each suffering from varying states of self-inflicted imprisonment. The show starts at 8 p.m. Aug. 6-9.
King, a Broadway World’s “Best Actor,” has been acting for the past 10 years and has appeared in several theatre productions, including “Glen-garry Glen Ross,” “The Beauty Queen of Leenane,” “Dead of Night,” and the films “The afterlife” by Tom Rizzuto and Johnny Greenlawn’s “Mommy’s Box,” to be released next spring.
