Rogers Middle School in Kings Park have been moved off the grass after multiple students were found with ticks, despite the district mowing and treating the fields. Officials have temporarily shifted activities to blacktop and paused practices while exploring longer-term solutions, and parents are urged to step up tick checks and prevention at home.
