
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who burglarized a Smithtown business last year.
Police say the man entered Legend Luxury Transportation, located at 157 Terry Road, used a sledgehammer to loosen a safe that was bolted to the floor and fled the scene with the safe, which contained cash, on Oct. 27 at about 4 a.m.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
