Tiffany Field Roadway, Repaved and Ready

Residents celebrate at ribbon cutting ceremony.

Members of the Nissequogue River State Park Foundation and the Kings Park Soccer Club celebrated the completion of the repaving project around Tiffany Field on Saturday morning.

The project, which cost $38,000, was funded jointly between NRSP Foundation and the soccer club and was completed by of Kings Park who was awarded the project through competitive bidding. Approximately 800 families use Tiffany Filed annually.

Mike Rosato, Chairman of the NRSP Foundation was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Rosato said partnerships such as these have been successful and essential to maintaining and improving the parkland.

“The Kings Park Soccer Club and many other local organizations have joined with the foundation in an effort to create a park that meets our residents’ recreational and cultural needs, while also helping to protect its unique environment,” he said.
