USATF track comes to Nortport HS July 9

The Northport HS Track club will be hosting the USATF-LI track meet this Wednesday night beginning at 4:30 pm. The action on the track begins at 5:45pm. This USATF-LI meet will be a first for Northport High School.  Athletes will be competing in Youth Open and Masters divisions ranging from age 5 to 75+, in different age categories across 19 events on the Track and Field. A live DJ and announcer will help keep the action moving all through the evening.

National HS 4x1 Mile champions Tim & Jack McGowan, Justin Leopold and Mikey Brannigan will be there.

There will be a unique Texas Medley relay (100,100,200,400) to end the meet. 

The meet is open to all comers at $10 per event, $8 for USATF-LI members and will feature both track and field events.
