Main Street Businesses Host 'Parents' Night Out'
Friday night parents can drop their kids off for a 90 minute dance party for just $2 at Kings Park Dance and then head out to a local restaurant to enjoy a discounted meal. For students of the center, the dance party is free.

Household Hazardous Waste Event
The Town of Smithtown will host the event at the Municipal Services Facility between 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Please bring unwanted materials in their original containers such as, but not limited to:
- Pesticides
- Paint Remover
- Pool Chemicals
- Brake Fluid
- Insect Spray
- Varnish & Stains
Mum's The Word
Mothers, Flowers & Secrets, an exhibit by guest juror, Hilary Harkness, who exhibits with the Mary Boone Gallery in New York City, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California-Berkeley, where she studied biochemistry and art and holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale University School of Art. Begins on Oct. 6, reception at 2 p.m. Smithtown Arts Council.
