• Suffolk County D.A.: Lake Ronkonkoma man indicted on murder charge in death of his father (tbrnewsmedia.com) — A Lake Ronkonkoma man has been indicted on a second-degree murder charge, accused of fatally stabbing his 69-year-old father in Mastic earlier this month. Prosecutors say a neighbor heard screams, a 911 call captured the victim pleading, and Suffolk County police arrested the suspect walking near the scene shortly afterward.
