• 'God was calling me to be a priest': Lancaster man to be ordained in the Buffalo Diocese (wkbw.com) — A 28-year-old Lancaster resident, C.J. Wild, will be ordained as a Roman Catholic priest this Saturday at St. Joseph Cathedral in Buffalo, after years of service as a local volunteer firefighter and Navy reservist. He describes a lifelong calling that began after First Communion and deepened through Catholic education and chaplaincy work. Wild says he’s eager to serve area Catholics by celebrating sacraments and supporting people on society’s margins.
