New Details Released For 3-Vehicle Crash On I-95: UPDATE

Police have released the names of the three drivers.

MAMARONECK, NY — State Police have released more information about the serious three-vehicle accident that shut down I-95 Wednesday morning. The accident occurred in the southbound lane in the Village of Mamaroneck shortly after 1 a.m.

Furkat Yuldashev, 30, of Mason, OH was driving a tractor-trailer south on I-95 when he struck the unoccupied car of Yesenia Camacho, 26, of the Bronx.

It was parked in the right lane of I-95 to assist the operator of the third vehicle — Alwin Martinez, 27, of the Bronx.

His vehicle was disabled on the right shoulder and was unoccupied at the time of the collision.

Yuldashev’s vehicle rear-ended Camacho’s car which was pushed into Martinez’s vehicle.

Camacho and Martinez were standing in front of their vehicles at the time of impact.

Both were taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Yuldashev was not injured. No charges have been filed, and the accident remains under investigation, police said.


MAMARONECK, NY — For about four hours early Wednesday, I-95 southbound was shut down in the wake of an accident when a tractor-trailer hit two cars that were stopped along the highway. Two people were sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred in the Village of Mamaroneck around 1:13 a.m. between exits 18A and 18B, lohud.com said.

The people who were injured were standing in front of their vehicles, one of which had pulled off the highway due to car problems.
