The 2016 New York State Leadership Conference

Mamaroneck FBLA had a successful trip to Rochester, New York.

The Mamaroneck High School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) had a record number 57 members attend the Spring Leadership Conference in Rochester, NY on April 12 – 15, 2016. Of those 57 students, 31 placed within the top 5 of their respective competitions, with the top 3 eligible to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA from June 27-July 3.

Our very own Sophia Danziger, MHS Junior, ran a successful campaign and was elected NYS FBLA State President. Sophia also went through a grueling interview process with the NYS Board of Trustees and Advisory Board and was chosen to be NYS ‘s candidate for National Eastern Region Vice President. Sophia will be campaigning for that post in Atlanta before approximately 2000 students from the Eastern US. In addition, Isabel Alvarado will be competing for National Parliamentarian come June.
