8 Injured, 20 Forced Out By Mamaroneck Fire

The fire was contained to one apartment.

MAMARONECK, NY — More than 20 people were forced from their homes early Friday when a fire erupted in a Mamaroneck apartment building. Eight people were injured when the fire broke out in the fourth floor of 3 Dillon Road.

The fire began shortly after 4 a.m. and was contained to one apartment, the Journal News said.

The eight injured people were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries and smoke inhalation.
