A Quarter Century of Pampering: Larchmont Spa Celebrates
Salon and Spa at Vision of Tomorrow celebrated their 25th anniversary on April 30. A plaque is presented by village trustees and NY State Assemblyman George Latimer.
A sunny Saturday on April 30 marked the 25th Anniversary celebration of the . The Larchmont Avenue salon was festooned with balloons and fresh flowers to welcome patrons, friends and town officials to the landmark occasion. Vision of Tomorrow, a warm, sophisticated space, felt like the perfect retreat for “pampering and relaxing.” Both champagne and fond recollections flowed. Owners Pina and Michelle Cirillo beamed with pride when presented with a plaque from the Village of Larchmont Board of Trustees in recognition of their longevity.
Twenty-five years of memories prompted Pina Cirillo to recall the early years and pivotal events that shaped the business. Larchmont Avenue and the surrounding neighborhood were quite different a quarter century ago. In fact, Vision of Tomorrow might be the oldest business on the block. In 1986, when their doors opened, the area was the “sleepy” part of town.
Over the years, Larchmont Avenue has grown into a shopper’s Mecca due in part to the influx of a variety of restaurants. Vision of Tomorrow clearly kept pace with the changing times by offering clients the “ultimate great escape” from an increasingly frenetic world.

The salon expanded in 1996 by breaking through to an adjoining storefront. Facials launched the business in a new direction. Later, the salon/spa expanded a second time to introduce massage therapies from around the globe. Today, five unique facial options are offered as well as a full array of salon services.
Ten years ago, Pina Cirillo welcomed daughter Michelle Cirillo to the business. Michelle Cirillo had practically grown up at the salon and showed an early interest in the business. Mother and daughter merged their creative energies and business sense into an ideal partnership. Owning her salon and spa is the culmination of a long held dream Pina Cirillo first imagined in Italy. She explains: “I am happy to be in the neighborhood for 25 years. It’s been incredible! Thank you to our loyal clientele and to our wonderful staff for making all this possible.”
