
The Friends of the Larchmont Public Library will present its 7th Annual Spelling Bee on Sunday, April 7 at 4pm in the Social Hall at Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Avenue (corner of Willow & Larchmont). Admission is free for spectators. Refreshments will be available at 3:30pm.

Lou Young, Larchmont resident and CBS-TV news personality, returns as the Master of Ceremonies. George Latimer, Westchester County Executive; Lorraine Walsh, Larchmont Mayor; and Nancy Seligson, Mamaroneck Town Supervisor will serve as Bee judges.
In 2018, twenty-one teams participated in the 6th Annual Spelling Bee and the event drew a record crowd. The winning team was “PCBees” [sic] comprised of team members Stephen Land, Marjorie Lindblom, and David Morse. The winning word was “Whippoorwill.”
