LARCHMONT, NY — A diner in Larchmont could be torn down and replaced with a seven-story apartment complex. The proposed development would take the place of the BLD Diner on Boston Post Road.

The application, which was filed Feb. 4 with the Town of Mamaroneck, would require a town board change to the property's zoning map, the Journal News said.

If it were to come to fruition, the complex would have 58 two-bedroom apartments and 40 one-bedroom apartments.
