Attempted Abduction in Larchmont Yesterday Afternoon

A 10-year old boy reported that he was approached yesterday, Sept, 22 at approximately 3:15 p.m.on Boston Post Road near Bonnet Avenue, and solicited by a strange man attempting to lure him into a car, according to a notice sent out by the Mamaroneck School District.

The boy refused and continued walking home; the man continued walking southward on Boston Post Road toward Chatsworth Avenue.

The man was described as being white, with no remarkable features, according to the Larchmont Police Department, who are investigating the incident.  The boy did not see the man’s car.
