I think it is ridiculous that children are no longer are able to bring nuts or any nut product to school due to those who have nut allergies. What happened to the days when every child had peanut butter and jelly for lunch? Nuts are a healthy snack which provide all sorts or good nutrients. Although I understand some children are allergic, why is it that all have to suffer? Why not have a seating area in the cafeteria for children that have nut allergies rather than punishing all? Some children are also allergic to chocolate, wheat, dairy, etc., and other things but I don't see those items being blacklisted. Once children are in middle school they know what there allergies are and to stay away from them. I think this is a terrible injustice to the majority for the sake of a few.
