We
invite you to join us for a two-session basket weaving series with
expert weaver and instructor Robin Ingram. She will guide you through
the process step-by-step and provide all the materials you need to get
started on your continuous weave round basket.
You will start with a wooden base and learn a two-by-two twill weaving pattern with two colors of wet reed. The finished size is 4.5 inches high by 7 inches in diameter.
About the Instructor
Robin Ingram, a retired school administrator and science teacher, has been weaving baskets since 1997 and is a member of the Northeast, Long Island and North Carolina Guilds. She has been teaching beginner basket weaving for 16 years at adult schools, numerous libraries, and historic sites. Other hobbies include weaving on a floor loom, bookbinding, and most recently, hand embroidery.
