Car Crashes Into Payless Building on Mamaroneck Ave.

Mamaroneck police reported no injuries and only minor damage.

UPDATE: 1/23 While pulling into a parking space on 407 Mamaroneck Ave.—in front of the Payless Shoe Source—the 82-year-old Harrison resident skidded on ice, losing control of his 2010 Lexus and hitting a parking meter and the front of the building in the process, said Mamaroneck Police Spokesperson Sandra DiRuzza. 

There were no injuries or passengers in the vehicle with him.  There was damage to the parking meter, said DiRuzza.

A car crashed into the Payless Shoe Source building at 407 Mamaroneck Ave. on Saturday around 6:30 p.m. The driver was described as an "elderly gentleman" by the Mamaroneck Police Department. Damage to the vehicle and building was minimal, according to police. No further information was available.
